We all want to do the very best we can for our dogs, which is why most of us will spend a great deal of time shopping around in order to pick the best dog food. We look for products then that are rich in nutrients, with plenty of real protein and lots of added vitamins and minerals. This is why it can be so disheartening then when our dogs experience bad reactions to that food. That might mean being stuck in the yard trying to force a bowel movement, or it might mean experiencing large amounts of diarrhea. Perhaps they just have no appetite, or perhaps they’re acting lethargic. Or maybe you can’t immediately figure out the problem your dog is having but you’ve noticed that they keep scratching. Maybe they seem tired, or maybe they’re just not themselves.
In either case, there is a chance that the food is to blame and that your dog is suffering from allergies. They may well be allergic to certain ingredients or foods, and that could be causing a reaction such as a rash or such as vomiting. In either case, you should consider changing your dog’s diet to something equally as nutritious – but a little less harsh on the stomach. Definitely consult with your vet to find the best option for your furry friend!
